Sprayed concrete is increasingly used to infill and overlay secant and contiguous piling, as a viable and cost effective alternative to the construction of breeze block or false walls. Sprayed concrete can also accept waterproofing additives which help to seal basement or other below ground level construction subject to high water table and water ingress.
Temporary support systems include spraying onto headings during underground construction, shaft sinking excavations prior to the setting of segmental concrete sections. |
